viaJ entertainment services was founded by Carlyncia S. Peck in 1993 and is headquartered in Prince Georges County, MD serving globally. viaJ serves the entertainment arena in the areas of training, production and consulting. The viaJ family is made up of several teams of very talented creatives with a love for good, clean entertainment that doesn’t at all fall short of absolute excellence.

As Founder and CEO of viaJ entertainment services, lie, a full-service entertainment firm, as well as Founder and Executive Director of Artistic Empowerment Centers, a 501 (c)3 non-profit arts outreach organization, Carlyncia believes in lifting as she climbs empowering others to realize their full potential. Essential to her calling is inciting positive self-image, bringing efficacy in communication and teaching the value of relationship both personally and socially relative to commune-unity. A cum laude graduate of Howard University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, Carlyncia concentrated her studies in musical theatre becoming a working professional in the entertainment industry for over 30 years. Guild, American Federation of Television and Radio Artists and former member of Actors Equity Association, she appears in several film, major motion picture, television and live stage productions as an accomplished actress and vocalist. Her principal/costar film and television credits include Netflix’s House of Cards, Touchstone Picture’s Step Up (One), HBO’s Something the Lord Made, Nubia Filmworks Nocturnal Agony, Wild Hundreds Productions Hope, JD Productions Drama Capitol, and several appearances on CBS’s The District and HBO’s The Wire. She is often booked as an on-camera narrator and host for several projects utilizing her warm approach to communicating. Her work also includes national, regional and local commercial and print ads for clients such as Washington Gas, Amtrak, Citibank, Marriott, and Giant Foods. Most notable principal stage and touring credits include “My Lord, What a Morning” starring as the legendary contralto, Marian Anderson, with the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, background vocal work with King of Pop, Michael Jackson, pop icon, George Michael, and other celebrity artists in addition to her own self-titled tour of Europe with TransAtlantic. She’s taken part in numerous recording studio projects ranging from narration and radio commercials to loop groups and cd recordings.
